I used a swing AND bouncer with all of my kids because we always had large swings and the bouncer was very easy to move around the house, like if I was washing dishes I could put LO in the bouncer in the kitchen. However, with this baby I am having another swing and had planned on a bouncer but I was at Walmart today and they have rocker type bouncers for $37 and after they grow out of it it turns into a rocker for a toddler. It holds a child up to 40lbs so that is what we are going with. You should check them out, more use for your money.

my son hated his bouncer, but loved/still loves his swing (hes four months)

and, i have a jumperoo..hes pretty long but doesnt fit to reach the ground. and, when i let him sit in it to play he doesnt play with any of the toys on it, he wants a toy hes able to throw/eat/move around lol
i honestly just put him on his tummy time mat for play time, he LOVES it..i mean seriously hell lay on it or roll around on it for atleast an hour.
