Broken Ring

I got a 14k band from a off brand store jewelry store in the mall around Christmas time.

Yesterday, the bottom of the band broke. :/ It says 14k on it...It shouldn't break that easy being gold, right?

I am kind of stupid when it comes to jewelry.... I am sure they can fix it, but I paid about 300 bucks on sale for this thing. Did they jip me? :/

Yes, I think you got jipped. Bring it back to the store.

In less than 3 months time it should not have broken, even if it was a fairly thin band and you wear it everyday for everything you do. I'd take it back to the Jeweler and have them fix the band.
