I always bought the 4-in-1 cribs. I spent a little more but it was worth it not to have to buy a toddler bed later. My son just got moved to a different toddler bed so my friend could have his crib, and my daughter is just turning 1 so we have yet to turn hers.

Sooo i guess to answer your actual question...full sized lol

We've always used a pack and play for the kids until they turn two. Then moved them into a toddler bed. Noah is almost 4 and almostb ready for a twin.

I had a delta portable crib (same size as mini crib) it just folds up.. Its about $118, and the mattress it comes with is crap so I bought a 3inch mattress for is at around $40. So for me this time around im just getting a full size crib since its not much more (im getting a graco crib at $149). I chose full size since A) size isnt an issue any more, and B) its easier to get crib bedding for a full size.

okay than you, that helps alot, i was trying to decide what to get for baby #2 when he/she is concieved and born. we are getting new stuff since most of what DS has was bought used or given to us and we are in a position now to be able to buy new stuff.
