Have you considered the patch?? OP, all birth controls do the same thing no matter the form.. whether it be regulating your period or preventing pregnancy...

It sounds like you need something thats tailored more for you, something that you don't have to remember every day.. i remember back when i was 15 & on B.C i never missed a pill.. i was on for the same reason as you, but rarely had sex at that age.

I couldn't imagine losing my younger years to a baby, accident or not.. I hope this is a wake up call for you and your bf..

That's not true, all birth control work differently for different people.

No where in my post did i say "birth control works exactly the same for everyone"... I said, birth control does the same thing.. IT DOES. no matter whether it's the shot, the pill, the patch, or ring..it's still the same hormones & it's still used to prevent pregnancy...She got the pill to regulate her period..If she's forgetting them (as she's stated) she needs something that's more reliable for her. which is why i suggested the patch...

They did for a while, i was just recently on it for over a year & had no issues since they re-did it. (or so they said lol)

some pharmacology books say best if used with in 72hrs but may be effective if taken with in 5 days.
