infant screeching/whining

When infants "find their voice" and the screeching/whining stage begins. When does it normally end? I forgot this part from when DD was little. DD #2 is 5m and driving my CRAZY.

I feel like never lol
My 19 month old still a screeches and screams when he feels like it, he thinks its funny lol

I don't think either of my children did this

mine too, but this is becoming a constant whenever she is awake thing >.<

I cant say it stops at all   I would just put my hand on his mouth *NO not like over it* and tap and count. It seemed to distract him enough to stop lol

Yah I do remember those days that he just seemed like he was waiting for me to do it so the whole day could be filled with screaming and me doing that lol But for the post part it worked! Sometimes Id just sit there and throw his tiny stuffed animals at him, he loved it lol

dd is 7 months and has been doing this since about 5 months... it goes right thru me! i love her to death but omg...

I played that on my phone and my son started doing the same thing lol

LMAO. I have never seen a baby do this before but atleast now I can get prepared for DS (who is 5 months next month).
