My 11 week old sat up

So I'm a little freaked out. My 11 week old is big for his age, he was 15 lbs last I knew and he's never been one for lying down. But I was sitting him up to burp him and he pushed off the hand that was holding him and just stayed that way. He was sitting up by himself for nearly a full minute and only bobbled a bit. I only let him long enough to snap some photos then made him lay down, even though he cried.
I don't know, could this be bad? Like for his spine? Could he have a problem?

Both my kids sat up by that age.

My LO was sitting up at 3 months.

Just kidding. I would worry about their heads being so heavy... maybe having him recline in a boppy would give him the best of both worlds?

IDK, I guess if they can do it, it's okay... just make sure he's on a very soft surface incase he falls - like your bed with you right there.

My son was a beast. Sat up before 3 months, crawled by 5, walked at 8 months. My daughter was just pure dumb luck, she didn't even crawl until 9 months.

My daughter was standing by 7 and walking by 8 too. She shouldnt have been though, she was so bowlegged for a while. She's good now though, thankfully!

I was worried about the bowlegs too, but they fixed themselves. My uncle was bowlegged and had to have corrective surgery, so I brought it up to the doctor and he brushed it off. Like, what are you going to do... stop them from walking when they're ready? Haha. My daughter just started walking a week ago, she's 13 months today. Soooo refreshing compared to the "go go go" of a walking 8 month old.
