Constipated baby
posted 18th Feb
She's 4 months old and she's been having a hard time pooping. Lots of wet diapers so I know that she's being fed enough. But these past couple of days I'll check her diaper and it's not what it usually looks like (amount and texture) I'm wondering if it's her bottle (too much air making tummy hurt etc) or if it's her formula? I really would rather not change formula since she's been using it for quite some time. I give her Enfamil premium.
What can I do to help her?

Warm bath, clockwise belly rub, bicycle legs, call her pediatrician and ask the nurse what you should do.

My DS experienced this at 4months as well. The pediatrician told us that at this age your babe is just learning to regulate their bowels on their own and can go a few days without regular bm's . One friend has suggested to me that I should take a rectal temp to help stimulate the rectum and help things along and when I mentioned this to the pedi he said absolutely not that this would only slow the process of my son learning to regulate his bowels.
