broken toe

Fist let me say im diabetic thats the only reason im asking...


I slipped and fell last week in sam's club and hit my foot on a flat bed card and i think i may have broken my toe not my foot... I read that if ur diabetic u should get seen.... Should i go get seen or just wait it out....

I, personally, would get seen regardless of pre-exisiting medical conditions, if I thought I broke my toe.

Even if you weren't diabetic and think you broke your toe, you should see a doctor.

I'm also diabetic, but honestly, being me... I would wait it out. If you already have healing problems or problems with your feet I would go straight ahead to the doctor, but otherwise I don't see an issue waiting a few days. If it seems to be getting worse or not getting better after a few days I would hightail it in, though.

But maybe that's just me.

I'd go get seen anyway. My sister broke her big toe about 10 years ago, and now she has bad arthritis in her foot where it didn't heal together properly.

it can cause ganggreen and its the toe next to my big toe so it happends to be one toe u need for walking to stablize urself ive been walking on the side of my foot since friday because it hurts

my mom thinks im a big baby blah blah blah and every time i get hurt i need to go to the dr... I see my dr every 6 weeks because im on pain meds for my back

thats why i havent gone in but i guess u can loose ur toe being diabetic

I mean if you're worried about it, by all means, get it checked out! I'm just saying, I've broken my pinky toe before and didn't bother. They can't do much for it anyway.. But if you're worried it might get infected, yes, go. Always better to have peace of mind.

yah i was holding my 8 month old im lucky i had her tightly and didnt drop her because she most likely would have cracked her skull open or worse.

I can't count the times I've nearly broken mine on buggy wheels. There is one store in particular that it seems I ALWAYS wind up wearing flip flops and kicking the wheel, but I never remember which store it is until I'm there and have done it. It all comes rushing back to me. lol
