Ugh... really?

posted 18th Feb
There's this girl in my class that I have added on facebook and she posted a photo about abortion being murder so naturally I said that it wasn't and her friend came in and started attacking me, calling me an immoral idiot and saying that I deserve to die for being pro-choice.

This is the second time she's harassed someone over having a different opinion from hers. A month ago she harassed my friend for liking our bio teacher and called her a back-stabber and two-faced bitch then continued to harass her for a week.

It's so immature and she's super crazy so I reported her. I hope our professor actually does something this time.

Just needed to rant..

Why would your professor care what someone posts on facebook?

So unfriend her.

Even though she is a bitch about it she is still allowed her opinion.

I feel like reporting her to your professor is like crying to mommy when someone calls you names.

Exactly what I was thinking.

She's allowed to have an opinion. If you knew she would react like that then why egg her on? And your professor isn't going to do anything about something that happens on the internet between two adults, no matter how immature the adults in question are.

Normally I would agree, however telling someone that they deserve to die is lingering towards a threat and our school takes bullying very seriously. This is college. Not high school.

I'm shocked because you are acting like you are in high school. Unfriend her and get over it. I mean seriously?!?

She said you deserve to die. That's a statement. If she had sad I am going to make sure you die for your pro-choice opinion. Then that's could be taken as a threat.

I get that cyber bullying is the huge deal that everyone's all concerned about but I really think some people are just too sensitive.

It would probably be taken more seriously if it were high school

College won't do anything. You're a grown adult. Unfriend her. It really is that easy

Isn't it a little bit of a stretch to say she is cyber bullying a 26 year old. Especially when the 26 year old was the one who started the confrontation/conversation in the first place?

Edit to my previous post.

I was just saying what she said as what a threat would actually be.

I don't think you should die. Please don't report me ;-)

I get that. It's the fact that this has happened multiple times between her and other girls in the class. That is the problem. Also, she isn't the person who posted the prolife photo.. she came in and commented after I did. The person who originally posted it didn't said anything

Except that I didn't start it. The girl who said that didn't originally post the photo. She came in and commented after my comment. I just realized my post didn't say that so I thought I would make that clear.
