Jealousy from 7 month old

My baby loves people, every time she sees someone she gets excited and interacts with everyone except for other babies. I have play dates for her all the time but she just doesn't enjoy the company of babies. She seems to get jealous if they play with her toys or if I play with them. This started when she was only 8 weeks old, I picked up my nieces baby who is 2 weeks younger than her and she freaked out..I don't understand why she is this way. She will be nice for a second and then she will yell at the other baby and just be so rude. She is only 7 months old, and I don't understand why she is is way. Neither me nor her father are like that in any way. How can I break her out of this?

She is only 7 months old so to her you are her mommy and they are her toys. Learning to share doesn't come until later. You have time.  

Umm you cant shes a baby, they freak out over things. And I highly doubt that happened at 8 weeks, she could barley see past your face at that point let alone see you picking up another baby. Just keep trying to have her interact.

She was definitely 8 weeks, we had family staying st my house during a hurricane.We were in her room sitting on the floor. Her and her cousin were laying next to eachother, I picked her cousin up and she looked at me in away that broke my heart and she freaked out until I put her cousin down..it surprised me. I didn't know what to think. Ever since then she has been that way. My neighbor comes over every weekend with her 8 month for play dates, and my little girl always tries to bully him, it's strange.

She's seven months old. Kids don't really play with other kids until two years old or so... they just kind of play beside each other. It'll all come in time, just be patient.

Maybe she felt alone but Im telling you an 8 week old cant see that far. And yes now that shes older she might be a bit more controlling but shes just a baby, she dones bully just wants what she wants and has no other way of saying so.

I know a 8 week old can't see far that's another reason it surprised me. I'm just not used to seeing a baby her age behaving the way she does toward other babies. I wish there was a way I could post a vid..I'm just hoping that it's something that changes with time. She's so sweet to everyone else.

All kids develop differently, my sister was talking at 6 months and putting together sentences at a year.. so maybe your 7 month old got jealous at 8 weeks, who knows..
Just keep talking to her gently and being consistent. She's 7 months old, she may or may not understand quite yet, but as long as you remain calm and consistent with what you say to her in those types of situations, she will learn one day.
