stomach bug and breastfeeding

I'm ridiculously sick.. is there any type of nausea medication that's safe while BFing???

I'm starting to get dehydrated.. I need to get something down.. or I'll have to go to the hospital to get an IV ran

ETA: It appears that there is a drug called Domperidome/Motilium that suppresses nausea and actually increases lactation.

Quick google search shows that you can find domperidone/motilium over-the-counter at CVS, and probably other drugstores as well. Hope you feel better soon!

Domperidone is prescription (in Canada) and a warning was issued in Canada due to abnormal heart rhythms and cardiac arrest.
Gravol is safe to take.

glad you told me that - that's what I seen on the list so that's what I was going to get.. I have an abnormal heart rhythm - probably no bueno for me
