CHEAPER is another reason. ive worked at the same place for 2 years and still get min. Life out here is to expensive for that. ugh dont get me started on the gas prices.

We went from the Bay Area [born & raised] to Louisiana to Alabama to Georgia [thanks to the Army]...and now North Carolina.

I would move back to Savannah, Ga in a heartbeat if DH could find a job with comparable pay. I would also LOVE to live in Charleston, SC. We visited several times & it was wonderful. We've been in Raleigh for 2 weeks now and I have no complaints! DH has a good job, we live comfortably, good schools...etc.

my husband lived in NC while he was in the army, he always kept telling me how much he hated that place and that he didn't want to go back lol he had an army buddy that was based in savannah and he said he loved it there, we will be moving to ringgold, GA. i've lived in the city my whole life and I know its going to be a big difference and takes some time getting used to, but I am so looking forward to moving out that way, its sooo much cheaper out there too which is like a bonus compared to here lol

A HS close from of mine moved to GA after high school and always talked about how she loved it (we were from Bakersfield, CA), looks really nice.

Yep. It's always that way. You want something you've never had before. I've lived in Illinois my whole life.

Luckily, we've never been to Fayetteville/Ft. Bragg. I haven't heard many good things about it either. lol

lol ya, we've always called it something else rather then fayetteville, he had nothing but problems and horrible memories while living there
