Just a big smurf wad :(

I am being today. Idk why I have been so frustrated lately. My 15 mo is cutting 8 teeth ...4 have erupted finally...he is impatient and sensitive. He never naps really anymore....wakes up ten times a night. He is in pain...here I am getting short with him.

I finally HALLELUAH got him to take a nap in the morning like his usual routine and just as he was going to sleep my room mate decides towake up and rifle through the kitchen....he sits up and I say " DAMMIT!!" all mad...he starts crying..I nurse him back to sleep....I am such a smurf wad....tf is wrong with me....why am I so stressed? Im not the one cutting a million teeth ;( motherffdgjj

It's normal to get frustrated, you're human. You're stressed and tired. You know you love your son, but you're not a hero--you're going to get short and impatient with him, too. I just did' that today with my son. He's always been a terrible sleeper and it's never gotten any better and he's 7 months old. He's been up since 7 this morning and just now went for a nap after being inconsolable for 2 hours. I feel your pain!!

Sound like my oldest he's almost 4 now. For the first 2 years I never slept because of him... Some times I'd set him down and walk into another room and cry calm down then go back. IRS hard but you have to stay calm.

Thank you ladies....Its very difficult to like myself when I put myself in his tiny shoes. I need to work on controlling myself..It is so difficult not to automatically respond too. Just overwhelmed...the man is not much help either he is so short tempered :/

I know, if I ever get to the point where I feel really stressed/guilty I automatically feel MORE guilty because I'm like, "he's just a baby". I imagine it's hard if your SO is like that, too. Luckily my husband is a saint and is the most patient person I know to put up with both of us! Haha. Maybe you could get someone to watch him for a few hours to relax??

Mine was too.

We had our son in 09 when he was 17mths our twins were born. Now with this little guy I had last month he us so much better lucky too because I go back to work in 2 weeks.

My Dad has offered and I might take him up on it...I really just want to take a bath by myself ...maybe a walk. No husband either. I need quiet time haha.

That's good!  ...maybe my guy will calm down with the 2nd ..not likely but a girl can hope! He is a great Dad...but has a short fuse if he is having a bad day....which is about 3/4 of the time heh

Same he's an amazing dad. Had a smurffy childhood took him a while to realize the way he was treated made him that way and he could be better.

He only got short fused on no sleep and no matter what we did they wouldnt stop crying.

I get frustrated too. My daughter, 18 months, has finally slept through the night for the first time in 5 days since she was teething.

My guy is just now starting to realize his anger problems are from his experiences as a child.
Our son's crying used to upset him alot more than it does now...but it still frustrates him :/

Its been a few weeks for us

It suck because some of the time the mom has 9 mths to get it down but the guy knows just doesn't get it naturally till after a while... Nit always but that was ny experience for the first 2.5 years. That's when I started working and going to school.
