That's sad   but I understand why ou left. It is VERY hard to deal with.
Like in a lot of ways he is responsible. He used to work full time at a really hard job and never complained, he's an awesome dad, ect. But in a lot of ways he thinks like a 12 year old, or he just dosnt think before he acts at all. It's really frustrating but I love him and I 100% believe it is not his fault he is the way he is.

Exactly.. With my SO he was lucky to at least have his Gma who showed him love, but it hurt him that he knew he ha a mom and dad who just left him and started another family and forgot about him for 11 years.
And he had uncles who lived with him who he tried to look up to like a father figure but they pushed him away

BD's gma pushed him away too...he was always treated like crap...his sister was the golden child & he got shown no love. :\ it is sad but I hope he over comes it. I know a lot of times in their culture they are taught to fully respect their parents no matter what, so they do take a lot of smurf they shouldn't out of respect. It deff sounds like your SO's issues stem from when he was a kid.
