Baby wearing!!

posted 18th Feb
So I just took my new baby carrier out of the box and strapped baby on. I think she loves it! Lol. I bought it for our vacation this weekend because she doesn't really like being in a stroller, but I think I'm going to make a habit of it, lol. And it's super cute. X)

I loved baby wearing! And so did my boys. I still occasionally wear my 2 year old on my back but he prefers to walk most of the time. I still have my sling and mei tei stored away for #4 someday.

Wraps scare me! Lol. I know lots of people use them but I don't think I'd ever feel secure enough with one. I hope this one doesn't end up hurting us though! I guess the real test will be this weekend when we're out all day.

Becareful with those kind. I am glad baby likes it. But I had a similar one with son #2 and the buckles would just come undone. It was brand new and he was only 3 months so I know he was not too heavy. After that I chose to go with wraps that I could tie on my own and know my son was secure.

I use an infantino sync wrap. I love it never had any issues with it. More secure than moby's. But I have a cheapy carrier like that too for me to use when working out. Since I have to wash it a lot I didn't want to get an expensive one. But even after some time of him being in the cheap one my back is killing me. I use my wrap for long periods and everything but working out in.

Those are really bad for baby's hips. Have you thought about a wrap or a carrier that isn't a 'crotch dangler'?

Wraps don't feel/look secure to me. It would make me way too nervous. If it's bad for hips I'll probably just use it when we're out(which isn't very often at all). And if she acts like it hurts, of course I'll take her out of it.

Yep, this! DH tried the moby we got for the newbie on our 25lb 21 month old and it was definitely secure. But they also have carriers that just aren't crotch danglers, too.
