No energy!

What can I do to get my energy back?

My son is 10 weeks old and every day....I just feel no energy or motivation to do things. I still have 10 pounds of baby weight left, my skin looks horrible(because I can hardly find the time or energy to wash my face twice a day..), my hair stays in a bun all day, etc.

I want to get healthy, I want to find my style, I want to feel ENERGY so I can get up and do things and go places with my son and husband.

It could be depression creeping in, that's how it started with me.

Or it's because you just had a baby, it's not abnormal to be super tired out

One thing I think that helps is exercising. It makes me feel better about myself, and I always have a crap ton of energy after a good workout. Good luck.

Got a stroller or baby carrier? Try taking a walk? I wish I could but with 3 kids and no sidewalks in my neighborhood, I'm not about to attempt it, lol.

It's hard to get back into the swing of things, especially if this is your first baby. If DS isn't sleeping long periods at a stretch at night you're gonna feel it lol. DD1 was up every 2-3 hours until she was 3 months. I had no energy or desire to do anything. I also had PPD @ was a single mama so it made things difficult. When she started sleeping through the night it got a lot better. DD2 sleeps very well already at 10 weeks. I also made it a point to shower or do my makeup even if I didn't/don't want to lol you gotta force yourself. It's a huge adjustment, don't feel bad if you skip the housework & stay in your pjs all day every once in a while either  

Taking supplements & exercise will help, also eating healthy.

thats how i felt for months until i got help for depression. it could just be baby blues but talk to your OB or midwife and nip it in the butt before it gets out of hand.

My son is 4 months old and Im just starting to feel normal again but when I know we don't have plans like today I have no shame staying in pjs all day this mommy stuff is hard work. I also take b12 everyday and that helps boost my energy a little and I try to walk or do yoga sometimes I get lucky enough to go on a run I can't wait until summer it will be a lot easier to go out and do things.

I wish I could help but I feel the same way, i felt like it right through my pregnancy, and I was hoping it would end, but it hasn't.

I know!! I want to exercise and feel good about myself, but..I can't seem to get the motivation to do it. I'm lucky because my husband has been picking up the slack..But I feel like I'm just lucky enough to get a shower or a bath by the end of the day.
