Sex on period question

I have never had sex on my period before. DH and I had sex on the 7th. I thought my period was over because it was a little brown and there wasn't a steady flow, but nope it wasn't. Then last night I had a large amount of white/yellow creamy discharge.

How likely is it for someone to get pregnant from having sex on their period? It took us 17 months to get pregnant with my daughter. I'm just wondering if that was the magic key lol

How long are your cycles?

It's unlikely, but could happen. I guess if you miss your next period you'll know why! Lol

What CD were you on when you had sex. What CD are you one now? I do NFP and was taught that you are considered infertile until after the 6th day of your cycle.

It's not impossible. If you get sperm in you, no matter what day of the month it is, you could possibly get pregnant, period.

Well I know that, I just know that sperm dies too, so there's no telling how long one stayed alive or if for some reason I might ovulate early

I was on CD 3 when we had sex and I am on CD 14 now. (this sounds so crazy lol)

My periods only last 5 days

I'm gonna say that you are not pregnant. You would have had to have ovulated between CD 3 and 8 which I am guessing is unlikely since your cycles are so long. You probably O around day 18-20. Sperm can live up to 5 days in the right conditions but conditions that early in your cycle they would last much less than that. Are you TTC?

That makes sense   Not trying not preventing. We haven't used any protection since August. I never get pregnant fast lol so whenever it happens we will be fine with it
