What to feed my 9month old?

posted 18th Feb
I'm not sure what kind of finger foods i can start feeding her now. She's never been a fan on gerbers, or gerber snacks so i just make her baked pears and chop them or make her own purees, but Can she eat what i eat now just into small pieces? Like scrambled eggs, sausages, our dinners being pasta, chicken (which i have tried)

Just to point out:

The allergy clinic (my son is allergic to peanuts) says that introduction to food guidelines are changing. They told us that we should introduce my daughter to peanuts before a year, because it can help her immunity. Never did, but we have given my daughter shrimp and a few other "common" allergins. Honey is fine, but you have to be aware of the risks (botulism, it isn't an allergy issue) and go from there. It's not a HUGE risk, but it is a risk.

I would go for greek yogurt, it's more filling and tastes better imo

I gave my daughter pretty much everything I ate, except seafood, honey, and peanut butter.

For the yogurt, I give her the YoBaby yogurt...it has the full fat in it which they need for brain development. Oh and she LOVES cheese.

Actually it is a bit different then plain cow's milk which is why they are able to eat it at 6 months...never bothered my daughter's tummy.

when lactose is fermented, like it is in yogurt, it's easily digested by even lactose intolerant individuals. Not all of course, but my brother being example of a lactose individual who can enjoy a yogurt.
