at what age would you feel comfortable napping in the other room while your child is playing? just curious

Tanner is 4. I will take a nap on the couch while he plays.

ugh..maybe 15 lol...my son is 3 now and sometimes he wakes up before everyone else and plays in his room for a bit, but I could never do it on purpose...too many things could happen.

Depends on the child. Ive been comfortable napping on the Couch while she plays in the living room or watches a movie for a long time. But she's never been a messer. She doesn't get into bad stuff. But I don't keep bad stuff around for her to get into. So I'm not worried. Maybe about 2. But I've never really been home
To take a nap often. Only like when I'm sick. I'm not much of a napper.

My daughter is 3 1/2 and sometimes I want to nap so bad, but I get so worried that she will end up getting into something/managing to open the door and leave/hurt herself/make a huge mess that it's impossible for me to sleep. I don't think I would feel comfortable napping with her playing alone until she's a lot older, maybe 6 or so. That's just me though.

My kids are almost 4 & 6 and I only nap if they are around me. If it were for me to go to another room - maybe 8 if I know tey are mature enough

Dd is 4 and a half, and I will nap on the couch while she plays or watches tv in the same room.
I probably won't be able to nap in a different room until shes like 10 haha. I'm paranoid.
