What did, or will you be doing

For your child's third birthday theme, my friends son is a few months older and days I copy her ideas, when in reality I never have, his first birthday was just blues & greens. His second was cars, I want something unique.

we went the lazy route for my son and did chucky cheese

My son was into so many different things at 3. We had a cake made that included all his favorite superheros, he had a b-day superhero outfit with a cape, and favors and decorations to match.

DS1's 3rd birthday was done in Mickey Mouse cause that's what he wanted. And DD's birthday in April will be done in Tinkerbell cause that's what she has asked for.
Don't worry what other people say about your child's birthday theme. If you are doing it for your child and it's something they would like, screw what everyone else likes. My friend's son had a mickey party a week after my son had a mickey party and we thought it was hilarious that they wanted the same stuff.

I'll probably be doing a Cars theme this year. Jack loves Mater and Lightning McQueen.
I even have a cake pan in the shape of a 3d car already. I'm sure I can frost it so it looks like Lightning.

I want to do Mickey cause he's obsessed, but that is what she did for her sons second birthday, and my sister is doing Minnie for my niece, I guess I shouldn't really care but, it just is annoying like how many kids have that theme but I'm copying? Ha..

Sounds like she is just being a bitch
But really. If your son loves Mickey, do Mickey. It's his day and it doesn't matter what other people say.

That wouldn't be a bad idea, his dad is an ass and probably wouldn't want to do that, :/ even thought that's one of the few days he actually does like him a year

thats what we usually do is give him a me day to do something special. he doesnt really have friends his age, and my family isnt big so the only time ive ever thrown an actual party was when he was 2. im sure once hes in school ill start doing that again though but til then he can pick what he wants, and its easier and less stressful. last year we took him to the aquarium... this year for his 5th i have no idea what ill be doing
