Lean on me when you're not strong
And I'll be your friend, I'll help you carry on
For it won't be long
'Til I'm gonna need somebody to lean on

So, I guess vaccinations should be illegal... that causes child pain, too? And circumcision? How about surgery if the child needs it?
Flying does not equal abuse. haha. IMO, of course.
quoteposted 18th Feb
No. This is all a matter of people's opinions which doesn't matter when it comes to your RIGHT to take your child on a plane.

Wait. HOW does flying with your baby cause them pain?
quoteposted 18th Feb
Just gonna copy and paste this here from the other thread. lmao
God forbid your child need to travel with you to go somewhere. Lets just leave it home unattended so we can fly to where we need and not inconvenience others. Those people were babies once too, and I'm sure they annoyed other people in restaurants or in public places. It amazes me that people can want a place with no kids. Children are part of society too, and yeah... they cry from time to time.

People need to let parents parent in their own way..

I've never had an issue with my babies crying on airplanes.
It's not that difficult to give them a boob, bottle, or pacifier.

People can just get over it. They don't know the circumstance. I couldn't imagine having to live overseas for almost 5 years and not being able to take my children to see their families again (and the baby to meet them).

And even if they do cry, so what? Babies cry. I've seen better behaved infants and toddlers on planes than adults.

fathead has been on a plane half a dozen times, and never cried. Sitting them in a car for 15+ hours isn't abuse too?

I have no problem with people flying with their kids. I fly all the time for work and I have had both positive and negative experience with families with toddlers and infants. If you are going to fly with kids have some common decency though. Don't let them kick my seat. Don't let them scream the whole time. If your child is too young to chew gum or suck on a sucker to help their ears pop then give them some Tylenol to help with the pain. When I flew home from Texas two weeks ago I spent four hours on a plane in front of a woman with four kids probably about 6, 4, 2 and then a baby under a year. They yelled and screamed the whole time, kicked the seats, and were generally just out of control and she did nothing. I wanted to smack her (the mom). In contrast on the way there I flew with a mom who had 3 kids probably about 5, 3, and an infant and they were perfect. She made them sit down and be respectful. I don't think its the kids people should be mad about its the disrespectful parents who won't make their children behave.

People are too psycho abotu things right now, omg. Someone should open up and airline just for families, lol. Although that might be a saftey risk in case of an emergency.
I've flown with my LO from 6 months up till now at 3 years old and he's never cried. His ears have never been an issu except for once at 9 months when he had already had an ear infection.
