There's a stigma attached to breastfeeding because breasts are showing though.
that's my point.

I do see your point though. i should have picked a better story to compare with, and I explained that in a previous post.

But that has nothing to do with a woman flashing a bunch of kids on stage at a school.

I think her point was that boobs shouldn't be sexualized and criminalized because their only purpose is for breastfeeding.

But I don't see how seeing a pair of boobs is less damaging than a child being slapped and called a smurf.......... One inflicted pain on another human being... a child. IMO, that's a lot more serious than seeing boobs you can see anywhere nowadays.

"An aircraft is a multi million dollar piece of machinery that people pay hundreds or thousands of dollars to fly on; it is not a flying chuck-e-cheese for your kids! Ban all children under 13."

"so,what this man did was wrong, that is not in question. However, everyone is defending the rights of parents to bring the babies on airplanes when the KNOW the takeoff and landing cause them terrible pain (which is why they cry). So this abuse is "ok"?? There should be an age restriction on flying. Not because crying babies is annoying, but because causing a child injury for your convenience is wrong. Until they are old enough to chew gum or suck a lollipop to make their ears pop, they shouldn't fly"

.....taking a baby on a plane is abuse? WTF.

God forbid your child need to travel with you to go somewhere. Lets just leave it home unattended so we can fly to where we need and not inconvenience others. Those people were babies once too, and I'm sure they annoyed other people in restaurants or in public places. It amazes me that people can want a place with no kids. Children are part of society too, and yeah... they cry from time to time.

Yeah... I made a new thread on it so as to not hijack this one. I am just shocked how so many people are like "take a bus" or "take a car"...yeah. I'm going to drive over the ocean to go visit my family overseas.

Tell that to girls gone wild. Like it or not, they're sexualized via the media, and for being a sex organ. Nipples are used for arousal. So while they do feed, the intention was sexual.

A teacher showed HOW MANY kids, her boobs? If my son was there I'd be livid.

People need to stop deflecting. What that guy did was wrong. Regardless of how annoying or frustrating it is when you're flying in an airplane with a crying baby, you don't lose your smurf.

Why? What's the big deal with boobs? Your son's never seen them before and you don't expect that he ever will?

Maybe if we could shake off the Puritan nonsense and be open and honest about our human bodies, boob flashing wouldn't even be an issue. We aren't exactly nudists in my house, but I don't want my daughter to grow up thinking there's anything shameful about her own body, or anyone else's.

But if somebody slapped her on a plane, I'd be pretty outraged. I didn't read either news story though. I don't know the details. I just know I'd much rather have my kid see nudity than violence.
