BO issue

Just cause it is a bit of a sensitive topic, please don't quote


For about a month now, I seem to smell different. I smell like cum or sex all the time. And not just coming from my genital region. It seems to be everywhere. That is the only thing I can think of that it smells like.

But I'm the only one who smells it! And it's driving me nuts

I've asked close family and friends if I smell different. I've gone to the doc and she said that she doesn't smell anything unusual. No infections or STD's

I'm using the same deodorant and soaps as I always do. Same shampoo and conditioner. Same laundry soap

I just can't shake the feeling that I smell bad   I'm getting embarassed to go anywhere.

Could it be just in my head? Has anyone heard of anything like this before?

Sine you think it is your whole body then maybe it is just in your head? Maybe you should switch deodorant scents so it is a new smell and you can smell it all of the time,lol.

You smell fine to me.  

It could have to do with your diet. Everything you eat/drink has the potential to change the way you smell. Anything new in your diet lately? I find I smell weird if I eat a lot of junk.

I was using a new deodorant when it all started. But then I went back to my normal brand and I still think it's not right

I used to feel like I smelled like McDonald's all the time. I dont know if it was sweat causing it or what but it drove me nuts. No one else smelled it, not even DH. It eventually went away but comes back every now and then. I figured it was something I ate (I rarely ever eat McDonald's lol). I HAVE to switch deoderants every couple of months because it doesnt work after a while.

Have you eaten anything unusual? Taken any new meds? Hormones changing?

Nothing i can think of that is new, but I have been drinking more coffee lately. Maybe that is the culprit

That is what my doc suggested. And she said that if it keeps up for 6 months, I should go back to her for testing. Whatever what means

That's a possibility too. Maybe try cutting down on the coffee and see if that helps?

Try using a body spray or perfume to cover it. That should help you feel better about it.

I have this issue sometimes except I feel like that smell is coming from my vag and everyone can smell it.. I know it is in my head but I spray perfume on me and the crotch of my pants anyways.

LOL it isn't even subconcious. I've been trying to get laid for WEEKS. I think about it all the time.
