Oh boy

DH was a smurfing major idiot this morning. His alarm went off.. He was awake so he turns it off and I fall back to sleep.. Only to wake up and see that he decided to close his eyes for "a few more minutes"... He is on his 90 day probation at work which means he cannot pull this smurf so today is likely to be his last day unless he gets incredibly lucky. They have this whole no tolerance for bull smurf like this thing so yeah.. It has been a smurfing lovely morning.

He may have gotten lucky because he hasn't texted me to say he is fired yet...

Yikes. If he does get lucky, I would set two or three alarms from now on. We have two alarms set for my husband because he also likes to 'rest his eyes for a few minutes'. We have one at 6:45 then another at 7:00.

That is the thing is he has three alarms set every morning but he has the option to turn them all off and he did that because he was "awake".

Set an alarm across the room, that way he is forced to get out of bed to turn it off.

I'd tell him that you put in his resume to some super smurffy job and that they told you they have an opening for him whenever he needs it. Maybe that will "motivate" him to care about work a little more.
