Also, the pint still stands. It's like my friend told her daughter. Every single teach she has had said the same thing about her. She always blames the teachers. It's always the teacher's fault. Well, like my friend said to her...the common denominator here is you.

She made the statement that all men are aggressive. That is not true. So what is the common denominator? Her. Either she is doing something to provoke men who are not normally aggressive, or she is simply picking the wrong guys. The same type of wrong guys. Either way, she is the one that needs to make a change.

OMG, you don't seem to get it. She said nothing of abuse did she? No she did not. She said that all men acted at least a little bit aggressive. Sorry, but no they don't. Many men do not act aggressive. So again, if every man she is involved with is aggressive, either she picks the losers or she does something to provoke them. Maybe she is abusive?

Learn to read and stop projecting your own life miseries onto this. She said not one thing about all guys beating the smurf out of her. But then, if every guy beats her, WTF is the common denominator there. I don't condone men beating women, but I would suggest a woman that somehow always picks the guys who beat women, to get mental help. There is clearly something wrong with her radar because it isn't coincidence if every man a woman dates is an abuser.

You don't know what strength is until you've overcome an abusive relationship and started completely over on your own.

Not all men are aggressive towards women. Some are overly protective. She is the one who made the statement that all men are aggressive. If that is what she believes, then the problem is with her. Either she is is just picking the losers, or she is doing something to provoke them. I have news for you, some women are abusive. Most are ore mentally abusive, but some I have known are physically abusive. Have you ever known a man who was physically abused by a woman? I do. It wasn't pretty. He was a strong man and could have hurt her bad, but he was raised not to hit women. Even when she used her nails to gouge the back of his neck so badly it took months to heal completely. he was Latino so the gouges were obvious. She literally took the skin off where she gouged him.

There is a big world out there. Step out of your own little victim bubble and discover it.

the OP just made a generalization about men being aggressive, which was wrong, but she didnt say every man she's ever been with was aggressive toward her. she didn't say her SO pushes her around or anything.
I think everyone needs to simmer a little bit.
If you know what it's like to be in an abusive relationship you should be a little more supportive. She should be applauded for having the strength to leave a bad situation, not be given smurf because she's having a bit of a hard time getting over it.

I've actually noticed that sometimes the most judgemental people are the ones who have been there themselves. it's sad.

You can tell when someone has overcome an abusive relationship. They're able to understand the thought process. Other people are unable to make that connection.

I find the most judgemental people are women currently in them and in denial about it.

You're incapable of saying you've been in one and continue to make generalized statements. That statement was absurd by the way.

I support her leaving an abusive relationship, but she made the statement that all men are aggressive. That shows something. If all them men she has known give her that impression, she needs to get help to find out why she surrounds herself with these kinds of men. Like maybe grow up and stop chasing the bad boys. Give a "nice guy" a chance.
