And I'm not saying anyone is a bad person or wrong for eating meat, not at all. We do what we must, just like when a woman chooses to abort.

Just the same as aborting a say 7 weeks fetus for instance is quite different from taking the life of an actual living breathing independent person...... but yes at the very basics of it taking a life is taking a life.

i agree that aborting a 7 week old fetus is different than killing newborn. but, in no way can you equate aborting a 7 week old to being an omnivore.

not placing human life above animal life is an extreme position.

I didn't, no one did. Ice Princess stated a life is a life in the sense of person or animal, you seemed to misinterpret that she had said eating a burger was the same as going in for an abortion. I pointed out she hadn't made this comparison but something quite different, she confirmed this however you seem to still be stuck on the idea that someone compared having an abortion is the same as eating a burger. The only person who brought up this particular comparison was yourself but as I said before perhaps it is just a case of whatever spin suits.

I don't think picketing and shouting at people is right. Just like I wouldn't want atheists standing outside my church Sunday morning picketing and saying "God doesn't exist!". I do feel it's mutual respect. If somebody wants to talk about it, I'll talk about it. I post about how I'm pro life on FB, but nothing graphic, mostly inspirational stuff. If somebody doesn't like it, it's as simple as unfriending me and I will not be offended. I delete people once in a while for posting things I don't agree with. I just don't want to see those things as I'm going down my newsfeed, so I understand. And yes, I do think it's mostly things people already know, most grown women that are considering abortion or have chosen abortion are aware of the details of their actions. I don't feel the need to guilt somebody whose had one. I just pray for them.

Seriously?
do you really not value a human life more than an animal life?

Humans in general? No.
Both breaks my heart when tragedy happens.
Why are we so much more important?
You really think that having an abortion when the embryo doesn't know it's alive yet is worse than an animal being slaughtered? No one knows what animals think or feel, but I imagine that they do know they're alive.

So, you have the ability to save one life in a life boat. an adult human or an adult zebra. The zebra got to the rescue spot a minute before the human. You save the zebra?

and i certainly value the life of an unborn human being more than a living animal. The potential of an animal and the potential of a human are silly to compare.

Anyone who would save the zebra first needs help.

Again I think you are grossly misinterpreting what she is saying when comparing an animal and human life. I'm sure in a situation like that she would save the human life however what she is referring to I believe is in the routine killing of animal or human life she values them both equally. In saying that why should human life be seen to be more important that we think nothing in killing an animal for food but throw our hands up at abortion.

I dont think I'm misinterpreting. YOU just questioned why people care more about abortions than the food chain.

What I specifically questioned why people care more about abortions than the food chain? No actually I was pointing out what my interpretation of the comparison SHE made was and how I believed your interpretation of what she had said to be wrong.

That's AGAIN you've totally misinterpreted something , you've got completely confused about when I'm personally asking/stating something and when I'm referring to back what she's been saying.

I mean earlier on in the thread you kept going on and on about someone comparing going in for abortion with eating a burger as ridiculous when the only person who had even stated such a thing was you.

Can we all keep up with the actual conversation and statements or is that just too incredibly difficult?
