Migraine and SO

Im in the Emergancy room with SO cuz he has a Migraine that is making him sick to his stomach. He claims that he is dying, that it isnt a migraine. I feel bad that he is in pain but omg i cant deal with the wimpering!!!!! He is now getting an IV and pain meds for a migraine. The doctor had to reasure him that he wasnt dying.

Poor guy!! Migraines alone suck really, really bad. I hope he starts feeling better!

I hope he feels better soon.

Ive had them before too and i know they suck but the complaining!!! I never even complained this bad when i was in labor.

IDK, if it's bad enough to where he wants to go to the ER.. it's probably a lot worse then you are thinking.

I am supportive, i gave him a back,neck and head rub and helped him. Im here in the er with him. im just saying that the complaining and him dead set on it being something is a little to much.

My husband is like that. LOL! I love him, but he admits he is a wimp to pain. I guess because I live in daily pain I am less sympathetic when he stubs his toe and complains for days about it hurting.

Migraines suck though. I had one so bad once my doctor, husband and best friend all knew I had meningitis or a brain aneurysm. They never did figure out what it was, but they pumped me full of meds and ran every test under the sun. IF your SO is having a migraine like that one, don't hate him for complaining. I have never been more afraid in my entire life, other than when we thought we lost DD. I just knew I was going to die before DH got home to take me to the doctor.   Moving, breathing, sound, smell, EVERY freaking thing made it worse. The worst pain ever, and I keep migraines plus I have bad endo. If labor felt like that, no one would have kids.  

Anyways, I really do hope he gets better. I know it's hard to hear someone complain all the time. I tend to suffer in silence, but sometimes, a pain comes along that is so bad, everyone will hear about it. LOL!
