Evelyn Mae is here!!!! Lots of pics!

I had contractions since 37 weeks pregnant, but slow dilation. I was dilated to a 2 till about 40 weeks. At 40+3 days I went to the hospital to get induced for medical reasons. It took me about a day to fully dilate. Then at 9:30 pm on February 13th I was fully dilated and had the urge to push. I started pushing and started having serious side and back pain. It was the worse pain ever. But I kept pushing till about 12:30 am. Then the back pain and the side pain became so intense that I just couldn't handle it and I ran out of energy so I choose to go with a c-section. I really didn't want to but I just couldn't take the pain anymore. I have a narrow pelvis so the doctor's were really concerned about her not being able to fit, and it turns out my Eve's head would not of been able to fit through my pelvis, when I was pushing she was hitting my pelvis which caused a small bruise on the back of her head. I'm so glad I choose to go the route I did for my Little Eveys sake! We even won a sweet gift basket that came with tons of new baby supplies for being the first baby in my town to be born on Valentine's day! Also the same birthday as my dad! I'm so happy my sweet little angel is here!

Thank you Ladies! She was 7 lbs 14 oz and is 18 inches. Born at 1:52 am. I'm still recovering.

Congrats Mama. Exactly what happened to you is what my OB is worried about.   She think it's why I haven't gone into labor yet She can't fit into my pelvis or something. Its a good thing you figured out something was wrong! And she's SO SO cute!

Thank you Ladies so much! Doctor doesn't think I will ever be able to give birth naturally. Also my doctor also told me that she was one of the most alert babies he has ever seen.

Everyone says that! My DH has little ears and she got that after him. The c-section went ok. It's been about 5 days and my body is still recovering, I still have pain but it's getting better with each day. I'm not having any bonding or breastfeeding problems. My little Evey is a eater LOL.
