holy boobs batman

My milk just came in today and my boobs are killing me. I took a hot shower and that helped but I'm at a loss as what to do. I pumped a few times but they end up engorged again an hour later. Do I just deal with it until it resolves itself? I don't want to pump and pump and then my body think I need way more milk than I do because obviously that would just add to the problem.

Dont pump, itll make it worse..then youll overproduce.

You can try hand expressing just enough to get a bit of relief but not so much that you increase your supply demand.
