I know several people who had it and survived. Its a very survivable cancer. The most "traumatic" thing that happened to one of the people that I know was that he had one of his testicles removed. The cancer hasnt came back since.

It runs in my ex's family. Like every adult make has gone through it and been fine. I sure hope the gene skips my son though.

You might not know the answer to this... but how does it all start? Do they just notice a lump down there? Or do they get sick?

Alot of times they dont even know. One of his family members didnt know he had it til he went for a vasectomy. It could also be found at a check up. A lump in your scrotum isnt automatically a red flag for cancer. Its worth getting checked out of course, but try not to stress yourself too much over your SO. When is he going to the doctor to be screened?
