Like minded as in women who have made similar decisions and know of more resources to support those decisions?

Nobody said anything about following blindly.

But what is there really to support? It is following blindly if you know very well that you could have something wrong with your child and someone tells you they "may" be able to treat it. I dont care if its a Dr or a MW, you should take the path that gets your child here safely.

If you are stuck on doing a home birth then great... but you need to INSIST on the meds. I had GBS with my first, each pregnancy after I was just automatically given the meds and not even testes as a precaution. You need to do whats best for that baby, NOT your midwife.

because my midwife is my health care provider, should i trust her 100%? dont you trust your doctors and their opinion when it comes to your care? of course you do. or else you wouldnt go to them. just sayin
