Sudafed for head cold?

Im going on 37 weeks pregnant and I've had the worst head cold since my last OB appointment (midwife had a cold, so probley caught it =/) and ive been trying to let it just go away on its own....haven't taken anything but im absolutely miserable at this point.
My mom said Sudafed is safe?

What do you all recommend?

My doctor gave me a list of safe medication I could use while being pregnant and Sudafed was one of them.

Yep   Sudafed is safe! I had a horrid cold for over 3 weeks back in December and that is what they told me I could take, thank gosh, and it still lasted longer but it did give a tiny amount of relief. Hope you feel better!

sudafed is veary safe to take in pregnancy that is what i took when i had a head cold my OB told me to take it when i had called him when i first came down with it feel better i know how it feels i was feeling better with in a few days.

I have a terrible head and chest cold and my ob said take sudafed with tossing dm alcohol free and its helped me....
