Pork chops

posted 17th Feb
I know they're supposed to be slightly pink throughout. But I get so nervous thinking they're gonna be raw... so I end up overcooking them, and they're dry/tough

Any tips/tricks to cooking them perfectly?

FDA has ecently said pork does not have to be cooked well done. I usually cook mine at 325 for 20-25 minutes and they always turn out great

We don't eat pork but I would suggest getting a good meat thermometer to help ease your mind about getting sick.

I do mine on the stove top. I was gonna try the George Foreman. I just feel like baking would take some of the juices out.

If you don't over cook them they will still be juicy when baked.

I normally bake unless they're thin. They're never dried out.

Get a meat thermometer! I got mine for like $5 at Ikea, lol. Then you can be sure it's safe to eat without worrying/overcooking it
