i dont know what normal is supposed to be but i know if your second number is getting in the high 80's or above 90 they start to worry, and i dont know how high the first number needs to be. i ended up going in to the er, and they are worried about my blood pressure, i got sent home to do a 24 hour urine catch and then i have to go back tomorrow morning for a bunch of other tests.

For adults, it is generally in the range of 90/50 to 120/90 mm Hg. It is advisable that you have a blood pressure monitor at home, which comes in handy every time you feel restless or want to check your BP.
