2 periods in one month, scared&confused

So I thought my cycle was strange enough this month when I had my period 2wks earlier then normal and absolutely all of the blood was thick, brown&black, no Oder and was very painful. But then today, only a week later, it's back bright red, and only lightly cramping. It also started again a morning after me and my SO had sex. Can anyone give and advice or has this happened to you or someone you know? I'm scared and nervous
