Yes it is his son. He only gets rude like this when he's pissed off. He says its my sons fault, I'm like wtf really idiot.. I flipped smurf on him as he was gettin ready for work..now I'm layin here cuddled up with ds mad as he'll still

My son has autism. I can see this from two sides.

1) He's an ass and he's not going to change, so for the best hope for your son to have a stable and happy life - leave.

2) Delay's in kids can bring on a bunch of different reactions. This may be his really screwed up way of grieving your son's difficulties. Maybe he needs to seek therapy.

In a way I thinks its his way. I mean he's 21, our son is our only child. He has two family members that are mute, so he knows what goes on with them gerttin made fun of, I think he just don't want our son to be picked on or feel like he's diffrent..I know he loves him bc he provides, and when he gets home he plays with him few mins before sayin anything to me

He is the one making fun of him though.   Do you confront him about it? I mean, I could understand if those were his feelings about the situation but that doesn't excuse his behavior and you need to protect your son and put him in his place.

He isn't worried about him being picked on.. He called him retarded and puts him down... That doesn't sound like love to me, it sounds like emotional abuse and it's very sad.

Honestly, he's young and facing the possibilty of autism is hard. I would have him go talk to someone, even your son's therapists if he will. My husband took a long time to come around and accept it. He wouldn't often say how he hated our son, or wished we hadn't had him, etc. It wasn't that he meant it, but he was angry at himself because he felt that it was his DNA that had caused this, and now our son would be stuck with it. He was so depressed about it, that he took it out on me and our son.

Having been through it (and my husband was 30 at the time, so he also had a little more maturity behind him) I can say I think he needs to talk to someone to get some help through it.

  if he knows what it,s like he wouldn't be the one making fun and calling names. And he's even worse than a random person. He's the father. I can't even believe you're still with him
