Still bothering me... *vent

On DDs birthday a few days ago BD posted "daddy loves and misses you."

You know what? Smurf you. You aren't her dad, SO is, and she can't even recognize you in a picture. It pisses me off he even thinks he still has that title... It's been almost 2 years since he's seen her, and legally he can't anyways. Uh it just bothers me. Maybe he thinks he's something special because he pays child support? Ha, ya right, your wages get garnished. For the first few months after he was court ordered to pay, he'd quit his job everytime they took money from him making me climb smurfing mountains to find him.

I'm the one that tucks her in at night, loves her, takes her to daycare, fought for her in court, takes her to the park. He's the the piece of smurf who couldn't even be bothered to show up to court...

Smurf him. I love my daughter but I wish I could go back in time and make some better decisions.

  Why can't he see her? Maybe he really does miss her... She is his daughter after all, but I obviously don't know any of the back story.


I know some men are dicks though and I can understand why you're so pissed off.

i know exactly what you mean, im going through the court thing now, DS's sperm doner doesnt even live in the damn country, i just got an email tonight from him requesting a paternity test and saying i keep him from seeing my son..dude you live on the other side of the smurfing world and thats MY fault?

I'm sure he misses her...

But I have sole custody and a restraining order for DD and I. He only showed up to court 1 of 3 times to fight it. Before I took him to court he hadn't seen her on his own terms for about 8 months.

So I guess I feel like he doesnt have a right to miss her, it's too late.

Eta: she isnt his daughter... Maybe biologically but he has the same rights to her as the guy down the street - none lol

How old is your little one? One of my childrens fathers is that way. He does it just for show though.

That's so ridiculous!! Before all the court stuff SD said he wanted to see DD and was so "despret" he even asked someone who was drunk to go pick her up. I told him no and DD cried so hard that night, and that day I decided to file court papers so he couldn't hurt my baby ever again!

She's 4 and he's been gone since she was 2.5... I don't think he does it for show, he only ever makes a post on her birthday. If he did it for show I'd be 10x angrier! Lol. At least no one made nasty comments about me on the post, considering all the horrible things he's said about me!

I understand completely.

I am still going through a VERY similar situation. He hasn't been there AT all.
Hasn't showed up to court. Hasn't paid anything. Hasn't seen my daughter for two years.


My SO is her dad as far as I am concerned.

Just remember how blessed she is to have you guys in her life. Sounds like you've been doing an awesome job taking care of her. Keep up the good work and forget his scum ass.

Let me guess everything is your fault because your the pos mother keeping him from her... Thats what I get. It's funny cause my daughter knows all his family members. Don't even let it bother you, it still annoys me but mines bio dad isnt dumb enough to write anything on fb anymore...

Thank you   I guess I was asking for it for creeping his FB... it's the only way I can find out where/if he's working or not though.

I still visit his mom and sister, and a part of me does that for him... it was like, the only thing he ever asked of me, was to keep his mom involved.

I disagree. You aren't a dad because you had sex and got someone pregnant. I never once said I hated him, I don't have any feelings either way for him anymore. I hate that he still calls a little girl who doesn't even know him, his daughter. A little girl he never fought for, doesn't want to pay for, never cared for when she was around, etc.

He abused me while DD was in the home and in return I took him to court and he lost custody. So I will not get over it, when I so strongly believe that there is more than DNA making someone a father, much more.
