re: the nursery. Pointless post about painting

DS's room is just a light blue. I'm usually an over the top creative person, but DH is very laid back. He would have this whole house white walls if he could, I hate that, I need color. So I didn't want to overwhelm him and just got a light color for all 4 walls

Luckily, I told DH about my "vision" for the room and he was all like "whatever you want." He even helped tape everything up....

i just painted my nursery as well all grey walls and one pink wall! and on the pink wall im painting a tree but havnt finished it the flowers are so hard to do!!

Is it safe to paint a room while prego? I want to paint my baby girl's room but wasn't sure if I could..

Well how bad are the fumes..? Last time I painted a room was about eight years ago so I dunno if they're less fumey now lol.

I keep the door open. It smells, but not too bad. crack a window if you're too scared of the fumes. Or wear one of those masks

Most paints out now are low odor..

Sweeeeet! Now I can paint her room and not worry lol. I wanna do orange and pink.. but the carpet is this hideous dark green.. ugh. Hopefully I can find an area rug..

I'm probably not gonna do the bright orange and pink lol I'ma see if I can tone it down or maybe just paint a wall or two.. the baby's room has a lot of built in shelves too so I may just paint those. I dunno.. I might just change the color scheme all together but that's all I got right now hahah.
