Proactiv vs Acne Free

posted 16th Feb
Have you used both or either? Results?
They're both around the same price and they both have a 3 step system. I'm in my 20s and I'm tired of acne. I changed my diet and I try to drink plenty of water. I no longer take birth control.. its just getting very frustrating.

Help!

I had no luck with either. It would help for a while and then my face adapts and I have to try something new. But if it helps, proactive worked for the longest amount of time before my acne began to come back.

Acne Free seemed tto work better for me. I tried Proactiv twice and never saw results. :/ Try the Acne Free severe. It has an extra step, few bucks more, totally worth it!

Do you just have straight up ance?
Or is it combination skin etc..

I've used proactive for my combination skin with breakouts.
It sort of worked but it burnt the skin around my eyes pretty badly and dried me out.

I am currently using dermalogica and the clairsonic Mia and my skin is better than it has been in a long time.

Watching!!

My face is horrible. Black heads all along my nose and forehead. Whiteheads in random spots...Plus, it gets really dry and then really oily. I look like a war zone, but...Luckily, hardly no big pimples.

I'm looking to buy something better than the stuff you get at the drug store.

I us proactive and when I stopped using it my acne came back worse then when I started. while I was using, it worked wonders. but it was like my skin became addicted to it or something.
I have talked to a lot of people who this has happened to as well.
I have horrible acne and just leave it be because I dont want to deal with that crap anymore.

I've tried Acne Free. I liked it. I used the Sensitive type and it was actually cheaper than proactiv at 14.99. No shipping costs either. I dont have bad skin at all but when I was going through some hormonal stuff I had random breakouts. So I got Acne Free and it helped a lot. It can be drying to me though, but the lotion that comes with it helps a lot.

This!! I have whiteheads and blackheads on my cheeks! Horrible!   I finally went to a dermatologist. She gave me clindamycin and retin-a. I slacked off for a while, but I'm back on now. Hopefully I'll see some results!

Personally I would skip the proactive.
Do some research online about your specific skin type. Oily
And acne prone.

Proactive is not the solution for eveyone
