Some recipes I've seen and tasted use butter.  

Best quacamole is simple.   Avocado, onion, tomatoes, and a bit of cilantro. Maybe a little lemon juice, and salt. mmmmmmm

It was store bought, Yucatan brand and its mostly avocado. It's supposed to be a good one and DH really likes it, as do my parents and sister and grandma and aunt lol. I will end up trying another I'm sure, maybe at a restaurant.

I love avocado and I like guacamole too but it depends. I hate tomatoes and onions so if its the kind without it then I like it. I make some at home with a packet and avocados and its good

I tried to use this packet of "guacamole seasoning" you mix with avocados and it was god awful. blech.
