He's Here! My Labor Story [2/6/13]

Due to having GD, I went to the hospital at 8pm on 2/5/13. I was supposed to start cyotec at 8pm, but b/c my cervix was looking good my dr said to hold off on it until 1am. I walked the halls at 9p-11p. I got into the jacuzzi tub(i was super uncomfortable & the nurse said it was ok). 1am the nurse came to start cyotec, i started contracting at 130am. By 4am I was at 5cm and contractions were coming every 2-3 minutes and getting more and more unbearable. I got the epidural at 430am, and attempted to sleep thanks to the epidural. 8am my dr came in to check me, i was at a 6. I got the pitocin started at 11am. They slowly upped the pitocin, and i was 10cm at 630pm. I started pushing at 630pm and lil man came into the world at 805pm. His shoulder got stuck, and he ended up having a fractured clavicle. I had a 4th degree tear also---oh so painful! Preston Philip-Wayne came into this world weighing 9lbs 13oz & 21 1/4 inches long! big boy! He will be meeting his brother on tuesday!
