how to go into labor??
posted 16th Feb
I'm 39 weeks pregnant with my second child. With my first child i got induced at 38 weeks because i lived to far from a hospital. Now I'm in the city so i don't have to get induced. But my fiance and i are ready for him to come we have tried nipple stimulation the longest i can stand it because it hurts me bad. We have had sex all week. I've been walking around the mall. And my dc said I'm only dilated a fingertip. Can anybody give me advice on what else to do were ready to meet him and my son is so excited to be a big brother.

Your kid won't come out till it's ready.
You don't get to decide.

This.
You wait and deal with it.

I woke up, ate breakfast, dropped my son off at school, had a normal day with my husband and went into labor around 2pm. My body and baby were just ready. Be patient, it'll happen when it's time.

Pineapple up the vag. You have to stay in a hand-stand position for it to work, though.

You're not even full term yet, just be patient. You can't be pregnant forever.
And I have to say inducing TWO WEEKS EARLY because you lived far from the hospital is a bit ridiculous. You signed up for 40 weeks when you got pregnant, not "until you decide you're ready". That's not how it works. How far were you from the hospital?

Yeah, stuid reason, IMO. But a stupid doctor had to okay it.

I bet that's how she spelled the names on the birth certificates.

Baby will come when baby is ready. Nothing will work and stop trying to force baby out.
And whatever doctor did your induction is an idiot. That's not a reason to induce

That's nice. If you're not having complications this time, let baby bake as long as possible. And pain is not a complication, that's to be expected.
