its proven that tips and tricks that "start labor" dont... people think that these things work because they dont realize their labor already began. you can speed up labor by using a breast pump, having sex ext... but nothing actually pushes you into labor. Your body decides that. Like with my first i had sex and thought that, thats what started my contractions, i didnt realize that when i had sex i was in early labor already. The sex just started my contractions and sped things up.

I just googled it. Google said nose bleeds with blood clots can be common in pregnancies. It could be that my blood pressure is elevated, im getting over heated, and or from stress.

Regarding your ultrasound weight. Do not believe it. They measured DS at 7lbs 3oz on Thursday morning and started induction a hr later. I had DS on Friday at 9lbs 15oz. I don't believe weights via ultrasound

You're not supposed to tilt your head back for nose bleeds. It will bleed into your stomach and make you sick. You're just supposed to firmly pinch the bridge of your nose.

Unfortunately doesnt matter where you are, some people are just unnecessarily rude. I was wondering why the op was still asking questions from these people that are just being mean.. anyways my labor with my 2nd child was an hour and a half start of contractions to delivery... so yeah Id hope if I lived that far from a hospital they'd induce me. 38 weeks is full term btw.. from 37 weeks on.
