What kind of items did you want in a gift basket after givin

My husbands friend and girlfriend are having their first baby boy. I don't remember much of the after delivery due to immediate post pardon depression so what kinds of items did you get. I want to put a nice gift basket together

For baby? Or mom?

a few outfits for the baby.

I didn't get one, but I put one together for my SIL. I gave it to her before she had the baby. It had lotion, chapstick, cozy socks, nursing pads, milk storage bags... I can't remember what else.

if shes BFing nipple cream! LOL I had to send someone to the store for me when I Was in the hospital cause I needed it ! It was something I def didn't think of! I agree with like cozy socks/ and or slippers those were super nice to have! Maybe a giftcard for a food place near to the hospital so SO can grab food? I did not want hospital food at all being in the hospital!

any baby products always come in handy and are gratefully received. Some friends also gave me some toiletries and lotions which was very thoughtful/

I would put yoga pants and a nursing tank top, Chapstick, socks, magazines, and some lotions.

Pajamas. Slippers. Body wash. Lotion. Nipple cream if she is breast feeding. Nursing pads. Gift cards for food. Snacks.

I never have gotten one but if I did I would want soft socks, a soft lightweight robe, some fabric hair bands, hand lotion and sanitizer, Chapstick, lanisoh cream, breastpads, and probably a cute little keep said box for our hospital bracelets or a picture frame for the "moment of birth" photo.
