Army and Air Force moms

posted 16th Feb
I would like to hear from military moms who's from either one of the two. How was it for you being a mom and joining the army? How did you get through basic? Was basic hard for you to get use to? Did want to give up or thought you would not make it? I will be join the military here soon once I figure out which branch of service will benefit my family and whats best job wise. Right now i'm trying to get a mental picture in my head on how basic will be and the type of things I
will be expected to do/get use to during bootcamp.

Thanks in advance ladies.

The military isn't taking many people right now and they generally don't take single mothers unless you have someone else who has custody of your child, due to extended training periods and deployment times.

Yes parents will have custody of my kids. I'm more wanting to know about basic training, what's it like or any tips.

You won't have much communication with anyone. You will hate life. It will be emotionally and physically draining. You'll get about 30 different shots in 2 days.

Branch depends on what you want to do.

If suggest navy or Air Force for a single mother.
