Well if you're the one enabling him then it sounds like it all goes back to you. You don't really have the right to complain about little instances like this if you refuse to resolve the underlying problems. If you really provide everything while he sits around and buys leafblowers without contributing, why are you with him?

I've tried marriage counseling with him, he laughed in my face when I explained how I felt hurt and betrayed by the way he treats me. I've done everything in my power to make things work but he just constantly thinks he runs the show, even though i'm the one supporting the family. I'm the one who pays the insurance, medical and vehicle, i'm the one who pays all the bills in the house, on my days off the house is spotless the kids are taken care of and he comes home and gets a good night sleep. Not once has he ever offered to give me a break, even considering the fact that I work 12 hour shifts the next morning. Considering the fact that i'm on a diet and trying to better myself he still puts me down, so now i'm looking out for me and my kids, he can do whatever he needs to do to make himself feel like a "man"

He was a TOTALLY different person when we got married, and he works but he spends his money on "his needs"....the reason for not getting a divorce is that I have literally not had the time to go and file. Between working 12 hour shifts full time and then taking care of the kids on my days off, my daughter has pulmonology apts, GI specialist appts, and dr appts that consume my days off.

Seriously I'd be finding me a new man. You deserve better than that. Anytime my husband wants to buy something even if its new clothes he asks me should he buy them. I mean most men will forget important dates hell after five years DH still has trouble remembering my birthday and its 8 days after his! Its not that hard to sweep the porch I sweep two porches every week.
