IMO jewelry IS a waste of money if it's something that's asked for. OP, you just sound greedy if all you care about was the bracelet. That's not a gift from the heart, which is what Valentine's day should be about. You want to be OWED for being married to him.That's not how that smurf works, babe.

It's valentines day, not a birthday. She got chocolate and flowers. There's nothing to complain about.

No I got chocolate and a card acutally, and it's way more than this...like for instance when I had my miscarriage and drove myself to the hospital to have surgery, or I was in labor with my daughter and he left to go home because he was tired or the time that he called me an emotional bitch because of my depression....The agreement was when our daughter was born we would start over fresh and try to do everything we could to work this out...from then on out ive' been a doormat for him trying to be the good little wife at home and like i've said with all her medical issues and problems I literally have no time to get away because i'm constantly giving her care on my days off work. The point to all this is, our house, car, payments, his truck, everything in our lives is in my name...I work as a full time mom and wife and don't ask for anything in return so the one time that I ask for something from him he acts like it's such a big deal to buy me a $40 bracelet that would be sentimental for me because it's (not worth the money) but he can go out and buy whatever he wants? And apparently i'm a "immature greedy bitch" because I got upset and ended up buying the bracelet myself with my own money...wow...you women must be smurfing super woman

You're the bread winner, so you asked him to buy you a bracelet with your own money? Makes sense. No.

You list all of these ridiculous things, and then act like him buying a bracelet would make him the model husband.

You said you wanted wedding charms, yet have nothing good to say about your marriage.

Figure out your own stance before involving people and asking them to pick a side. Because you only seem to want to complain about not getting a monetary gift, then whip out this list of sob stories about how he's a monster.

If he's so bad you shoulve asked for divorce papers for valentines day. Not a bracelet that you can out wedding charms on.
