leagal help! anoyone?

So I have a big issue and I need help! I have no idea where to start.
in 2009 I married a man. a very mean angry nasty man. marrigae didnt last long, due to his physical, mental, emotional and sexual abuse. I moved home in december 2010.
spring of 2011 he FINALLY agreed to a divorce. I wanted to file but he told me he would do it his way. time passed and I never heard anything. So I went to a legal aid here for people who make too little money. They filed for spousal support. and disillusion. they said they dont fight for anything but can do that little bit.
about a week later I got a letter from them when I filed saying my case was dropped.. because I was already divorced. with a copy of a mexican divorce.
I took it back to legal aid telling them I never signed this and I believed it was fake. they then told me if its fake I have to prove it meaning I need to hire an attorney. I had no money I cant do that. so I called my ex and threatened him telling him he was going to get fraud and bla bla bla. he said it was real and wasnt fraud. I attempted to change my last name back to maiden and get my own insurance, everywhere I went told me I couldnt use that divorce because it had no seal meaning it wasnt real. I couldnt even get a state id here or license. and there was NOTHING I could do. the whole "divorce" was in spanish there was no name or number to call to get a copy or any information. and legal aid couldnt file my own divorce here because there was already a "divorce" done.
I then told him I couldnt change my name and harassed him for a number. he sent me a new copy still in spanish but this time it had a real seal and a translated english verison as well and was notorized.
so I changed my name went on with my life. this was all in 2011
2012 I had a baby and remarried. that seal proved I was divorced. it got me a new last name ..everyone believed it..including me.
this whole time I was still on his insurance. he wouldnt removed me and tricare wouldnt let me remove myself. I was stuck using his insurance.
Today.. 2 years later I receive papers from a law firm saying I need to sign a disillusion if I sign and agree it does not go to court and our divorce will be final in 60 days...WHAT!? if I dont sign it.. it goes to court.
I am a felony now. I am legally married to 2 men! what the smurf do I do? where do I go? I have no money. I cant hire and attorney. my mom just keeps saying im gonna go to prison. Im committing a big crime! but ..if the state here thought it was real... how was I not supposed to believe it?!? he sent me a fake divorce. and now im smurfed!
my taxes I just filed with my husband ... FRAUD!
I cant stop crying. im scared. what can I do!?

You're going to have to hire an attorney. Sell stuff..find one that will work with you on payments.

Start looking for a lawyer that will work with you. There are some good hearted ones out there who help the lower income based side of the world.

Omg that's smurfed up. Don't sign anything. Do you have all the papers he gave you? Anything from legal aid saying what you did with them? If you have all that I'm sure you can show it to a judge and everything will be ok.

Holy smurf! I'd call legal aid and also call an attorney and tell them the situation and see how much it would cost to help you. HE committed fraud. Technically you did too, but he did it knowingly and you did not. I doubt that you are going to prison. Him on the other hand? Eh, probably. My friend got married at 16 to her sister's ex husband (Jerry Springer smurf, I know) They got a marriage license, got married and were married for months before they got a letter saying their marriage wasn't legal because he was still married to his first wife (her sister). Nothing happened to any of them. He just had to get divorced and they had to remarry.

Then you will be fine. He on the other hand may go to jail for knowingly committing fraud. What a jackass.

You're not going to prison. The only way you'll even get in trouble is if the county wants to press charges on you , which they won't. Sign the papers and have the divorce done with. I would talk to an attorney just to figure out the tax situation and if you need to remarry your husband.

You won't get in trouble. Your soon to be ex husband will get in trouble because he forged your signature on a fake divorce paper. You went to legal aid for help, the DMV believed the paper as did everyone else. Maybe you should just go to court and say, according to this document he gave me, we've been divorced for a year. I talked to legal aid here and they said they couldn't help me, so I just moved on. The state departments said it was real so I figured it was. Now I'm married and find out I was never divorced because he forged these papers. Be honest.

This is what I would do! I know court sucks but yeaaaa I wouldn't let that smurf slide.
