MIL calls it slut disease?!!

I just got off the phone with my MIL. She called super early to gossip. Always very mild mannered and sweet, she completely blew me away with this one. Somehow it got through the grapevine (DH loves to talk smack about the ex to his Ma- they both hate her with a passion)that DHs crazy ex has, quote "skank disease" aka cervical cancer. I don't even think I have ever heard my mum use the term skank. It got worse though. She continued with her rant informing me that "skanks" are more likely to get the HPV and cancer by sleeping with black men! What a crazy weird convo, please don't bash, MILs words don't exactly reflect my thoughts on this!  

On a different note, I'm curious...

At what point is a woman, in your opinion, rightfully deemed a whore or a skank?

A whore gets paid for sexual acts. A slut....I think there are too many factors to take into consideration.

That wasn't very nice. Cancer is cancer and it is not very to call it "Skank Disease."

I don't think you get cervical cancer from a black guy. Or any guy... It just happens. Smurf, I know a girl who was a virgin and had cervical cancer!

I actually googled it on the web and people quite frequently call CC "slut disease" because your chances of getting it increase drastically the more partners you have.

Some people simply carry HPV. Sometimes HPV does nothing, sometimes it does. Carrying it or contracting it doesn't make anyone a slut. And being black, white, Asian, nor Hispanic, does not put you at a higher risk

CC can also be caused genetically. I think the black bit she said might have to do with the fact that she lives in Wyoming.

Just because a woman sleeps with multiple people doesn't make her a whore, slut, skank, or any other derogatory term. It just means she likes sex. It's a very normal thing.
