I didn't even take health class, but I know that you don't have to be a slut to have HPV. I mean I guess since x/y number of people carry HPV so the number of people you sleep with would increase your chances, but it doesn't mean that people who get cervical cancer are sluts.

What DOES indicate that a woman is one of these things though? People came up with these terms to define something. Many if not most of us ladie here have probably used these terms before in connection with someone we viewed as being such.

I think those terms were developed from back when a woman was expected to only ever be with one man. That mentality remained even though society changed.

So in our present day society, what are out present day thoughts on application of these terms?

There must be a point when a woman has gone too far, right? At what point is this? Is it when a woman has actually become quite literally a whore? Slipped into bestiality, been incestuous, become sexually diseased ridden, has five bazillion baby daddies?

I'm just curious at what point the majority of women really take pause and think to themselves

She is over 60. My DHs parents are closer on age to my grandparents (80s) than my parents (50s)

I'm going to ask my real world friends about the latter topic because everyone seems so disinclined to answer what their personal thoughts are on the matter! MIL is way off in her statements, but people must have some sort of idea about what is sexually acceptable/unacceptable.

DH just woke up and I told him about the convo. He didn't seem surprised, all he said was that ma was right about one thing!!???

I call anyone a whore that receives money or some sort of compensation for sexual acts. Unless they are married. A slut... ehhh there's more factors that go into that. Numbers is never a factor because guys can have sex with 100+ girls and no one thinks anything of it, so why can't a woman have the same right? Now if she's sleeping with taken/married men, yeah, I'll call her a slut. If you are walking down the street and seeing a woman having a gangbang with 6 guys in an alleyway, I might be considering it lol.
I do think what granny said was really mean though. I mean, some older people still have issues with races and different things we do, such as tattoos, piercings, hair color, etc. But it doesn't make it excusable. I wouldn't wish cancer on anybody, and I definitely wouldn't call it skank disease.
